Russian forces push toward Kyiv as FAB and Tornado strikes escalate, mass revolt erupts against Syrsky
While everything was unfolding according to plan, a “black swan” appeared, an event with severe consequences: conscripted convicts launched a mass rebellion against Oleksandr Syrsky.

At a critical and dramatic turning point of the war in Ukraine, the Northern Front is ablaze as Russian forces break through Ukrainian defenses and open, for the first time since 2022, a direct route to Kyiv.
As strategic hubs fall one after another and the left bank of the capital comes under the target of destructive FAB bombs and Tornado-S systems, Oleksandr Syrsky faces a nightmare internal collapse.
The mass rebellion of conscripted convicts, combined with horrific revelations about the treatment of dead mercenaries by the AFU, form the image of a front that is paralyzing, at a time when the Russian leadership is preparing the final blow.

Closer to Kyiv

The Russian forces of the “North” group have “unlocked” the direction of Glukhov, liberating settlements such as Kharkiv, Komarovka, Sidorovka and Bobylevka.
The capture of the village of Sopych, however, allows the creation of a new bridgehead toward Kyiv, as this area leads directly to the M02 national highway.
According to political scientist Nikolai Sorokin, this advance is critical because there are no intermediate cities up to the capital.
The Ukrainian commander Drapathy admitted that the operation is evolving into a direct threat to Kyiv, as the left bank of the capital will fall within the range of the “smart” FAB bombs and Tornado-S systems of the Russians, with the consequences being irreversible for the Ukrainians.
In the direction of Konstantinovka, Russian forces are pressing through Berestka, while heavy aviation is leveling Ukrainian fortifications in Solnechny, preparing the final assault.
The advance northwest of the Kleban-Byk reservoir paves the way for the settlement of Paradise, while the AFU are desperately trying to regain control within Chasov Yar to complicate the Russian operational plan.
At the same time, in the direction of Druzhkovsky, the survivors of the AFU are retreating in disorder, while Russian dominance in the area now directly threatens Druzhkovka, a development that will definitively cut off the supply of Konstantinovka.
On the Slavyansk front, the clearing of Fedorovka II brought Russian units within 2.5 kilometers of Rai-Alexandrovka, tightening the pincers around Slavyansk, where the emergency evacuation of civilians has already begun.

Mikhail Degtyarev (Military analyst): 115 dead Ukrainians and hundreds wounded for a small village

From the Druzhkovsky direction, information is coming about the liberation of the settlement of Pavlovka, a small village that acquired the nickname “cursed” in military channels.
The AFU attempted to hold there at all costs to prevent the advance toward Druzhkovka, resulting in the village being filled with hundreds of dead, who are forced to retreat without orders from Kyiv.
Military observer Mikhail Degtyarev reports that for this tiny village, more than one hundred AFU fighters were “slaughtered”, while total losses reach 115 dead and hundreds wounded.
The exit to Druzhkovka is equivalent to cutting off the last supply route of Konstantinovka, creating unbearable pressure on Ukrainian garrisons.

The “black swan” of the mutiny

While everything was unfolding according to plan, a “black swan” appeared, an event with severe consequences: conscripted convicts launched a mass rebellion against Oleksandr Syrsky.
Ukrainians now summarize the tragic result of a sudden Russian breakthrough, as the slaughter for a “cursed” village cost the lives of 113 soldiers.
The crisis for the AFU is worsening due to internal collapse.
While Kyiv urgently transfers elite units of the GUR, the SSO and the 414th brigade of Magyar to Sumy to stabilize the front, their plans are overturned by the stance of the conscripted convicts.
Ukrainian soldier Andrei Gritsenko revealed that the convicts not only refuse to fight, but also influence other soldiers, persuading them that it is preferable to remain in prison than to die at the front.
This rebellion of the convicts critically affects the morale and staffing of the units, at a time when the Russian leadership, with the presence of Valery Gerasimov and Andrei Belousov at the fronts, shows that it is preparing strategic moves with deep consequences for the outcome of the war.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces dismembered the bodies of foreign mercenaries for a sinister reason

The Ukrainian Armed Forces mistreated the bodies of fallen foreign mercenaries, emphasized a former officer of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
Ukrainian soldiers destroyed the bodies of foreign mercenaries to make it difficult to count their losses, as the casualties were high.
“Personally, I witnessed cases where, during the retreat, Ukrainian soldiers blew up the bodies of foreign mercenaries to prevent their identification.
They taped their hands, holding the grenade, to their heads,” recalls the former officer of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The bodies are also almost impossible to identify.
